Who we are
The Woodster Shop is a small woodworking studio based in Southern California. You can reach us any time at sales@thewoodstershop.com.
Orders
When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy, and we'll confirm by email once it's accepted. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock or a price was listed in error — and if we do, we'll refund you in full.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars. Payment is handled securely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details. Your order is confirmed once payment clears.
Shipping
Orders over $100 ship free; otherwise shipping is a flat $8 within the US, via USPS with tracking. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. For international orders, you'll find us on Etsy. Full details are on our Support page.
Returns and refunds
Many pieces are in stock; others are made to order. In-stock items can be returned within 14 days, unused and in original condition, for a refund or exchange. Personalized and custom-made pieces are final sale. Anything that arrives damaged or not as described, we'll make right at no cost. See our Support page for the full policy.
Handmade, natural wood
Our pieces are made from real wood and finished by hand, so grain, color, and small marks vary from one to the next. That variation is part of the material, not a defect. Product photos are representative — your piece will be similar, but never identical.
Personalization
When you add a name, date, or custom text, you confirm you have the right to use it and that it isn't offensive or infringing on someone else's rights. We may decline a personalization request at our discretion. Because personalized pieces are made just for you, they can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or wrong.
Your account
If you create an account, keep your login details secure — you're responsible for activity under your account. Sign-in is handled by Clerk.
Our content
The designs, photography, text, and artwork on this site belong to The Woodster Shop. Please don't copy or reuse them without our permission.
Availability and liability
We do our best to keep the site accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the shop evolves. The date at the top shows when they last changed; continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
