Our commitment
We want every visitor to be able to browse, read, and shop comfortably — whatever device or assistive technology they use. Accessibility isn't a one-time checkbox for us; it's part of how we build and maintain the site.
The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA — the standard published by the W3C's Web Accessibility Initiative. We test key pages with automated accessibility tools and fix the issues we find.
What we've built in
- Semantic page structure and landmarks so screen readers can navigate easily.
- Full keyboard navigation, with visible focus on every control.
- Color choices with strong contrast between text and background.
- Descriptive text for images and labeled forms and buttons.
- Type sized for comfortable reading, never faded.
Known limitations
Some features rely on trusted third-party services — our live chat (Tawk.to), checkout (Stripe), and account sign-in (Clerk). We choose reputable providers, but we don't control their code and can't guarantee their accessibility. If one of them ever gets in your way, email us and we'll help you directly.
Tell us if something gets in your way
If you run into any barrier on this site — something you can't read, reach, or operate — please email sales@thewoodstershop.com. Tell us the page and what happened, and we'll fix it or help you finish what you were doing. Your feedback genuinely makes the site better.
